The community
Mission Park is situated on US27 just 3 miles north of its junction with US192. this well kept, quiet, gated community has a large communal swimming pool, kiddies play area and also a basket ball court for the more energetic. The beaches of both the Atlantic and Gulf are just over an hours drive. Lake Louisa State Park is just 10 minutes north and is ideal if you are looking for a quiet relaxing day close to wildlife by the lakes and on miles of trails. Bikes and Kayaks are available to rent. With an entrance fee of $5 per vehicle its great value.
Supermarkets / Restaurants / Shopping
There are several large supermarkets, Walmart and Publix, within 5-10 mins drive where you can purchase all your requirements. If you wish to eat out there are lots of restaurants, fast food outlets and bars all within easy reach. Drive a little further and your have a number of Factory outlets and Malls to get your bargains.
Things to Do
You are in the worlds greatest vacation capital, there's something for everybody. Enjoy the theme parks, you are just 20 minutes from the Disney Parks a little further gets you to Sea World and Universal Orlando. Drive 5 mins north on US27 and your at Showcase Citrus., acres of orange groves, sample and purchase all types of citrus fruit, drinks and food stuffs. ride on a monster truck. Drive a bit further north into the hills and you will find the old town of Clermont.
Island H2O waterpark at Margaritaville on US192 opened its doors in June 2019 and its only 10 mins from MAK villa.
